January Enhancements in TaxPlanIQ

At TaxPlanIQ, we're committed to continually improving our tax planning software to better serve our customers. We're excited to announce new features, bug fixes and continue additions to our suggested tax strategies.

NEW FEATURES:

These are mostly improvements to the user interface to make TaxPlanIQ easier and more intuitive to use.

• The 2025 plan year is now set as the default and can also be selected as needed.

• Navigate directly to Draft or Active clients from the dashboard for quicker access. 

• Plan Estimates for Tax Strategies now include an info button with detailed explanations. 

• View the full Tax Strategy description in RAP by clicking “View More” (and toggle back with “View Less”).
  

• Reminder: You can now log in directly from TaxPlanIQ.com using the “Sign In” button at the top right.

SUGGESTED TAX STRATEGY IMPROVEMENTS:

• The “Related Party” field is now pre-filled when completing Tax Strategies in RAP.

• The state field is automatically populated (when not redacted). 

• A “Market Growth Rate” field has been added to the federal field dropdown.

• Introduced the LIRP (Life Insurance Retirement Plan) strategy. 

OTHER ENHANCEMENTS:

• Federal and state-associated rates now auto-fill in RAP.

• Enhanced Word Download functionality with several improvements:

  • Template and text color selection options.

  • Automatic page breaks between strategies.

  • Federal and state savings for each tax strategy displayed in a table format.

  • Client To-Dos now sorted in chronological order.

• The “What You Keep” layout has been redesigned for better readability, replacing the previous bar graph.

These enhancements represent our ongoing commitment to delivering a comprehensive, user-friendly tax planning software. We're dedicated to providing tools and features that empower users to navigate the complexities of tax planning with confidence and ease.
