December Enhancements in TaxPlanIQ

At TaxPlanIQ, we're committed to continually improving our tax planning software to better serve our customers. We're excited to announce new features, bug fixes and continue additions to our suggested tax strategies.

NEW FEATURES:

These are mostly improvements to the user interface to make TaxPlanIQ easier and more intuitive to use.

• You can now login directly from TaxPlanIQ.com with the "Sign In" button (top right). Instance names are no longer required (although still supported).

SUGGESTED TAX STRATEGY IMPROVEMENTS:

• All suggested tax strategies have improved, more reliable logic to suggest each one appropriately.

• Suggested Strategy information icons have been added for additional explanation of each field.

• Suggested Tax Stratagy amounts have changed to "ESTIMATE" to make this clear that this needs to be reviewed.

• Several Tax Strategy suggestions added and adjusted include:

  • Separated Donor Advisor Fund and Maximizing Itemization Strategies

  • Updated QBI Deduction ESTIMATE
    

  • Added Healthcare Software RTU Program
    

  • Updated estimate amount for Accelerated Depreciation Strategy
    

  • Updated estimate amount for Meal & Entertainment Expense (M&E)
    

  • Added LEO strategy for Capital Gains greater than $800k
    

  • Updated estimate amount to $100k for Real Estate With

  • Charitable Option and Film Debt Investment
    

  • Updated 529 Savings Plan and Roth IRA Contribution strategies.

OTHER ENHANCEMENTS:

• OCR scanning is significantly faster

• Ongoing improvements to jAIne answering questions

• Also have the ability for jAIne to "escalate" issues directly to TaxPlanIQ (just use the word "escalate")

• OCR scan fixes for a few exceptions, making the process more reliable

• Improved scalability of the overall system to handle higher loads

• Corrected the HUB button went missing

• Several fixes around the questionnaire

• Sizing of logos corrected in the Word and Presentation Downloads

• Customization of color templates turned on again (with 8 choices).

These enhancements represent our ongoing commitment to delivering a comprehensive, user-friendly tax planning software. We're dedicated to providing tools and features that empower users to navigate the complexities of tax planning with confidence and ease.
